Please vote for me. Six years ago I was rear ended at a red light by a woman talking on her cell phone. I have had several back surgeries and numerous other procedures. I have been unable to work and live on a very limited income. Since my teeth have gotten so bad I rarely go outside my home because I am so embarrassed by the condition of my teeth. Sometimes I feel so hopeless. Please vote for me. I want my smile back Dr. Kravitz.

Dr. Joe's lastest comment stated that "The mouth physiologically affects your mind! " That is so true. Since my teeth have gotten so bad I have lost my self confidence.

Last month I had my first appointment with my new pain management doctor. She informed me that one of my prescriptive medications that I have been taking for six years causes tooth decay. She went on to say that it causes dry mouth. Saliva reduces the population of bacteria in your mouth it also cancel out decay-causing acids. I have spent the last six years trying to manage my spinal cord injury, to learn the medication that was helping me with the nerve pain could also be the cause of my tooth decay. If you are on any long term medication take the time to check it's long term effect on your teeth.

I want to thank my family & friends for taking the time to vote for me. It was just a stroke of luck that I found Dr. Joe's dental makeover contest. A friend of mine suggested that I search the internet for help.I have been reading Dr. Joe's book "Dirtymouth.tv". Everyone can learn something from this book. Not only can you save your teeth but having good teeth just might save your life. I am going to pass this on to my children so they can continue to have great teeth too.
